The Agriculture and Environment statistics unit is responsible for the agriculture, fisheries, environmental and energy data collection and its dissemination. The main domains comprise land, aquaculture, water, energy, waste, environmental accounting and taxes, and sustainable development indicators, among others.
These datasets are regularly maintained and updated annually to comply with the regular reporting obligations to Eurostat, as outlined through the relevant directives and regulations. The data is also compiled to satisfy national requirements.
